My name is Richard Viken Klausamrk. I am 23 years old, from a small village and now study VFX at the Norwegian Film School.
I have studied for three years of Media and Communication in upper secondary school, a year on a film line at a Norwegian "Folkehøgskole" and a year with media services such as photography, film, graphic design, and similar assignments with my own company.
I have previously participated in several workshops where I, together with other participants, worked on a film project from ide to the final short film in a week or less.

Several films I have made or participated in have had a screening at film festivals. I have also attended answered questions from the audience.
VFX has been a side interest for me growing up working on small film projects from a very early age. I have always had strong feelings about creating something I can be proud of and am fascinated by fiction and sci-fi. I believe it's because we make something new that doesn't exist.
I do not see myself working at the biggest VFX studios out there. I will enjoy myself much more in a smaller company between 5 - 50 close artists that do assignments between large, small, and self-made short film projects from start to end. An example might be an earlier phase of the youtube team "corridor crew" and their side projects on the channel "corridor."
In the VFX profession, I focus on composition and matte paintings. Creating the final image is what excites me. I have tried different fells and have experience in most of them.
